Synopsis
This document is intended to assist in the procurement of system and services to enable Internet access on trains, and suppliers in pre-empting the likely demands of Great Britain (GB) railway undertakings in their product offering to customers.
Summary Of Changes
This document has been prepared in response to the need identified by the Future Communications and Positioning Systems Advisory Group (FC&PS AG) for a Rail Industry Standard (RIS) that can be used by rolling stock owners and operators to assist in the procurement of systems and services that provide internet access on trains.
