This Rail Industry Strandard (RIS) contains requirements and guidance for a process to determine or revise a set of values of ERTMS/ETCS National Values.

This RIS includes a new requirement for an infrastructure manager (IM) who is proposing an amended ERTMS/ETCS National Value, to inform other IMs and railway undertakings (RUs) of the changes. The requirement for there to be a single value for each ERTMS/ETCS National Value within a National Area has been withdrawn.
