RIS-0711-CCS Iss 1

This document sets out requirements for the data interfaces between the infrastructure manager (IM) and the railway undertakings (RUs) for an independent connected driver advisory system (C-DAS).

RIS-0711-CCS issue one is a new document which is considered to reflect the current C-DAS sub-system design status and intent, having been based on documents prepared by the Digital Railway project including the operational concept and the set of system requirement specifications.

At its meeting in September 2025, CCS SC agreed with the 60m review recommendation that the standard be kept under review for two years awaiting the outcomes of related developments within the industry.
