RIS-0796-CCS Iss 1

This document sets out requirements for an RFID system where the tag is on the train and the reader is on the infrastructure. It includes specific requirements for Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI).

The intent of RIS-0796-CCS Iss 1 is to provide industry with a wider understanding of the requirements necessary to achieve a common approach for the use of train to infrastructure RFID systems for the GB mainline railway.

12 mnth review - No further action required. 60 mnth review to be brought forward to March 2021.
