Reporting High Risk Defects
Synopsis
This document defines requirements for recording, analysing and reporting safety related defects on rail vehicles, their components, systems, subsystems and related documentation. It also defines requirements for taking action following receipt of a national incident report (NIR).
Summary Of Changes
RIS-8250-RST reproduces GERT8250 in its entirety, unchanged in Annex A. This RIS can be adopted by IMs and entities in charge of maintenance to help discharge their legal responsibilities as it sets out a framework for identification and reporting of high risk defects.
