You will need this handbook if you carry out the duties of an IWA or COSS setting up safe systems of work within possessions.
Summary Of Changes
Section 3.11 is a new section describing the actions necessary when a designated person (DP) or machine controller (MC) requests line protection for work to be carried out on a rail vehicle.
14/11/2024 - At its meeting in November 2024, TOM SC approved the 12m review recommendation that no further action is required. Handbook is now within the scope of project 21-024 Removal of Unassisted Lookouts scheduled to publish in September 2025.
