You will need this module if you carry out the duties of a driver, a guard, a person in charge (PIC) of dispatch or staff responsible for train dispatch or the safety of the public and staff on stations.

A definition of a platform starting signal has been included at section 1. 

Section 2.3, ‘Items falling onto the line’ has been revised to introduce a requirement for the signaller to issue an authority number as part of confirmation that the line has been blocked, and to quote this when giving up the blockage.

Section 2.4 has been revised to include a new requirement to contact the signaller before and after taking something that will take longer than usual to cross a barrow crossing.
