GERT8001 Iss 84

This document is primarily used to publish minor changes to National Operations Publications (NOPs) and has been re-issued, taking into consideration any amendments to NOPs.

This issue contains details of new amendments in GERT8000-HB9 issue 8.1, GERT8000-TS1, issue 18.1 and RS524, issue 1.2. 

GERT8000-HB9, issue 8, has been changed as a result of the reissue of GERT8000-HB6 and GERT8000-HB7 in September 2024. Cross-references to those handbooks in GERT8000-HB9 sections 3.3, 3.4 and 3.5 have been updated.

Issue 18 of GERT8000-TS1 published in September 2024 incorrectly included a change to regulation 12.1 which it had been decided would not be progressed. The wording of this regulation has been changed to revert back to that previously published in issue 17.

The Regulation concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Rail (RID) published in 2025 includes several changes to the details of UN numbers as well as the addition of new UN numbers. These changes are reflected in issue 1.2 of RS524.
