GB Requirements for Platform Height, Platform Offset and Platform Width

Synopsis

GIRT7020 Issue 2 sets out GB requirements in scope of National Technical Rules for platform height, platform offset and platform width.

Summary Of Changes

References to TSI have been updated to NTSN, additional guidance has been provided on platform width and the ‘danger’ area and clarifications added in other areas.

These changes also incorporate recommendations from the 12-month reviews of GIRT7020 and RIS-7016-INS, undertaken and approved by INS SC at the meeting in March 2020.

29/11/2023 - INS SC approved 12m recommendation that an amendment and clarification is issued.
