GKRT0028 Iss 3.2

This standard specifies the infrastructure based train detection system parameters that are necessary to support technical compatibility with GB legacy rail vehicles.

New guidance has been introduced, G 3.1.7, as it is considered that there is a possibility of a single axle of a vehicle becoming 'lost' in a stagger as the risk increases as the length of stagger increases. This phenomenon is considered to occur principally in mid-section transpositions. It does not apply to axle counters.
