Vehicle/Structures System Interface Committee Sub-group
The Vehicle/Structures System Interface Committee (V/S SIC) Sub-group discusses, investigates and progresses work items that are allocated by the Vehicle/Structures System Interface Committee (V/S SIC). For those items, the V/S SIC Sub-group will report and recommend appropriate courses of action to the V/S SIC.
"V/S SIC SG is developing the long-term gauging strategy for Great Britain. The strategy promotes the use of standard vehicle gauges, which can simplify the gauging process and reduce the long-term infrastructure upgrade costs. We have commissioned research to identify and quantify the economic benefits. The outcome will help develop the business case to adopting the strategy."
Scope
The V/S SIC Sub-group performs the following functions at every meeting:
- agrees/reviews agendas, minutes and actions
- decides how to progress work items
- carries out the allocated work
- agrees the report and recommendations to be made to V/S SIC.
