GMRT2100 Iss 6.1

This document sets out National Technical Rules for the design and integrity of rail vehicle structures for both primary and secondary structures, including interior crashworthiness.

Amendments and clarifications:

• Amended throughout to refer to NTSNs instead of TSIs;
• Updated references to BS EN 15227:2020 (throughout);
• New clause G A.8.8 providing guidance on application of ultimate loads to trim panels and interior glazing; subsequent clauses renumbered;
• Added reference to RIS-2730-RST in G A.10.1.3;
• Added cross-reference to new clause G A.8.8 in clause G A.10.2.4;
• New guidance clause G A.11.1.4;
• Amended guidance in clause G A.11.8.2;
• Amended guidance in clause G A 14.6
