Synopsis
This document sets out National Technical Rules for the design and integrity of rail vehicle structures for both primary and secondary structures, including interior crashworthiness.
Summary Of Changes
Supersedes issue five. Only contains requirements which are classified as National Technical Rules (NTRs) in accordance with Railways (Interoperability) Regulations 2011 (as amended). Other requirements which are not NTRs but are considered useful by industry, are contained in RIS-2780-RST Issue one.
