Duties of the person in charge of the possession (PICOP)
Synopsis
You will need this handbook if you carry out the duties of the PICOP. This document has been updated as part of the December 2015 Rule Book Programme.
Summary Of Changes
Superseded by GERT8000-HB11 Iss 6. The maximum speed in possessions reduced from 40 to 25 mph. 'At caution' has been added to instructions to be given by the PICOP when authorising drivers and machine controllers to make a movement.
Changes made to allow a possession to be given up around more than one train - previously published in PON.
