Spoken Safety Communications
Synopsis
This document defines the requirements for spoken safety communications between people employed by the infrastructure manager and railway undertakings, specifically regarding the safe movement of trains.
Summary Of Changes
GERT8046 was reviewed in accordance with the final report of the European Commission's Task Force on National Safety Rules (NSRs). The review concluded it duplicated European legislation, and could not be retained as a NSR nor as a RGS. Its requirements remain valid and have been incorporated in RIS-8046-TOM Iss 1.
