Transitions Between Signalling Systems
Synopsis
This document mandates the requirements for managing the transition between running lines signalled with lineside signals conforming to Railway Group Standards, and lines signalled using other signalling principles.
Summary Of Changes
GKRT0036 was reviewed in accordance with the final report of the European Commission's Task Force on National Safety Rules (NSRs). The review concluded it duplicated European legislation, and could not be retained as a NSR nor as a Railway Group Standard. The content of GKRT0036 and its associated guidance, GKGN0636 has been retained, unchanged as Annex A and B of RIS-0036-CCS Iss 1.
