GMRT2020 Iss 1

This document outlines the overall engineering policy to be applied to all wheelsets before and during the use on Railtrack lines. The policy covers the whole life of wheelsets, from the design of new wheelsets, through to the withdrawal of wheelsets at the end of a serviceable life. This overall policy document makes reference to a number of more detailed documents. Theses documents further define the particular policies and standards to be applied to a wheel set at the various stages of its life.
