This document provides guidance on interpretation of points within the Operation and Traffic Management TSI (OPE TSI) where, owing to incomplete or relatively obscure wording, the intent and meaning may be difficult to understand; it provides guidance and reference on application of the requirements in the context of the mainline railway in GB and in the context of cross border operations.

This revision addresses the following changes made in the OPE TSI: - Scope of the TSI - To reflect industry input to the OPE TSI implementation plan - To give industry access to up to date guidance on the revised sections of the OPE TSI including the additional appendices - To update all references due to standards strategy and standard review changes. This document is currently under review.
