GOGN3615 Iss 3

This document provides guidance on the Operation and Traffic Management National Technical Specification Notice (OPE NTSN), including the application of the requirements in the context of the mainline railway in Great Britain.

GOGN3615 issue two predated the publication of the NTSNs on 01 January 2021, having last been revised to reflect the 2015 version of the OPE TSI. Issue two of the OPE NTSN was published on 2 May 2025. GOGN3615 has been updated to reflect the content of the OPE NTSN issue two. It includes references to the relevant standards that will assist users in complying with the OPE NTSN requirements. It also clarifies OPE NTSN content, as requested by industry. GOGN3615 issue three no longer replicates the OPE NTSN text, making the document easier to navigate.
