GORT3437 Iss 8

This document mandates the requirements relating to the production of contingency plans, which have to be applied when on-train equipment becomes defective. It applies to all trains being brought into service, and to those in service, on Network Rail managed infrastructure

GORT3437 was reviewed in accordance with the final report of the European Commission's Task Force on National Safety Rules (NSRs). The review concluded it duplicated European legislation, and could not be retained as a NSR nor as a RGS. Its requirements remain valid and have been incorporated in RIS-3437-TOM Iss 1.
