This document provides a voluntary standard on engineering acceptance of on-track plant (OTP) and associated equipment, for the rail industry to use if they so choose. This document details the requirements for the procedure to be followed and the criteria to be confirmed in the engineering acceptance of OTP and associated equipment. It also details the technical requirements for their operation on Network Rail managed infrastructure. To provide a voluntary standard defining the engineering acceptance process for on-track plant and associated equipment.
