RIS-2706-RST Iss 2

This document provides a standard on rolling stock shared data. Recording of some data is mandatory to register a vehicle; other data may be useful, for example to monitor vehicle maintenance. It is GB practice to use R2 for both types of data.

References to RAVERS and RSL have been changed to R2. References to current legislation and standards have been updated. The requirements in the TAP and TAF TSIs have been captured in the new RIS. The content of the appendices of RIS-2706-RST and RIS-2453-RST was rationalised; this involved removing Appendix B from RIS-2453-RST to eliminate duplication and a review with Worldline to ensure that the appendices accurately reflected the required information and its format.

12 mnth review - A limited change release should be prepared and published to update the legislative context and clarify data formats.
