Synopsis
This document sets out the requirements to identify and plan the mitigation of conditions of low adhesions between the wheel and the rail.
Summary Of Changes
RIS-8040-TOM reproduces GERT8040 in its entirety, unchanged in Annex A. This RIS can be adopted by IMs and RUs to help discharge their legal responsibilities placed on them by the Operation and Traffic Management Technical Specification for Interoperability (OPE TSI) to work together to develop site specific 'contingency plans'. An amendment to this document was published on 02/06/2018. This document is currently under review.
