Working of on-track machines (OTM)
Synopsis
You will need this module if you carry out the duties of a driver of an on-track machine, an operator of an on-track machine or a signaller.
Summary Of Changes
Following a review of section 3 it has been confirmed that the whole of the content has become obsolete and is no longer required as all OTMs can now be relied upon to operate track circuits. Reference in section 2.1 to telling the signaller that the OTM cannot be relied upon to operate track circuits has also been removed. A consequential change has been made to regulation 12.1 of module TS1.
Obsolete references to Safe Work Leader have been removed from section 5.1.
