This document sets out requirements and guidance for provision of signage at power changeover locations for multi-mode rolling stock.

RIS-3784-TOM provides a set of requirements which can be applied consistently to support all situations in which trains are required to change between traction modes. This standard will help to support successful integration of multi-mode rolling stock onto the GB mainline railway, and the driveability of a route so far as multi-mode rolling stock is concerned.
