Summary Of Changes
RIS-8070-TOM issue 2 is a revision to RIS-8070-TOM issue one, which also incorporates the guidance from GEGN8570 issue two. The standard provides clarity on random testing using clear principles that remove discretion from managers; provides clearer guidance on actions to follow when personnel in safety-critical roles is suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol; and has a section with guidance on testing individuals that use medicinal cannabis or those who eat poppy seed products.
