Summary Of Changes
Industry will be able to implement the findings of the research documented in T996 by using the new requirements and guidance to verify that vehicles and multiple units are designed and built to enable their classification as a Sprinter which can be permitted to operate using SP differential speeds. Industry will also be able to use the requirements and guidance to determine whether any existing vehicles or multiple unit classes could be classified as a Sprinter, if they are not currently.
