Sign AJ12 Iss 1

This document provides design details for sign AJ12 - Advance lower pantograph (temporary power changeover).

To introduce sign AJ12 ‘Advance lower pantograph (temporary power changeover)’ to the signs catalogue.  The sign provides a warning of temporary traction changeover from the overhead line (OHL) ahead.

The new sign forms part of a suite of standards changes relating to the introduction of new permanent and temporary power changeover signs applicable to multi-mode trains. It is anticipated that this suite of changes will make some contribution to reducing the number of failed changeovers.
