To introduce sign AJ16 ‘Power changeover not applicable’ to the signs catalogue.  The sign indicates a route that traction changeover is not applicable.

The new sign forms part of a suite of standards changes relating to the introduction of new permanent and temporary power changeover signs applicable to multi-mode trains. It is anticipated that this suite of changes will make some contribution to reducing the number of failed changeovers.
