This document forms a compendium of knowledge and advice relating to all aspects of gauging.
Summary Of Changes
Revised to align with changes in GMRT2173, GIRT7073, GERT8273 and GERT8073. Guidance on UIC method of gauging, gauging in HS TSIs and railway safety principles withdrawn. Guidance added for pantograph and standard vehicle gauges, platform stepping distances, and a methodology added to determine the effects of cross-wind loading.
