Summary Of Changes

This document has been reissued from version 1 to 1.1 to correct formatting only. There are no changes to the content. The intent of RIS-0713-CCS issue one is to provide industry with a wider understanding of the requirements necessary for assessing the driveability of lineside signalling systems, and guidance on the process of assessing changes to signalling layouts or signal aspect sequences. It also helps Transport Undertakings and Proposers assess whether a planned change to a lineside signalling layout, or the way it is used, is fit for purpose in supporting the train driving task by establishing the adequacy of the presentation of information, by the lineside signalling system, to train drivers.
