RIS-2700-RST Iss 2

Rail Industry Standard for Verification of Conformity of Engineering Change to Rail Vehicles

Synopsis

This Rail Industry Standard sets out a process which can be adopted by organisations that are undertaking projects that require verification of conformity of an engineering change to rail vehicles against applicable requirements and by organisations that carry out the verification work.
It can be used as a regime to demonstrate conformity with Railway Group Standards (RGSs) and Rail Industry Standards (RISs) applicable to rail vehicles.

Summary Of Changes

RIS-2700-RST issue 2 has been updated to align with the current / emerging Brexit legislative framework and to clarify the understanding in the field of certification and approval of rail vehicles. Furthermore, the updates have been made to ensure the standard is written in the current style of a RIS, incorporating rationale and guidance.
