Wellbeing Champion Toolbox
Wellbeing Champions act as “go to” individuals that can respond well to those in need of a “listening ear.” They can provide general wellbeing support, facilitate implementation of the company’s health and wellbeing strategy, and signpost the wellbeing support available. While line managers have an important role in supporting the wellbeing of their teams, it is recognised that the response by line managers may be variable, and in some cases the person may choose not to discuss a matter with their line manager. Wellbeing Champions can provide a formalised additional support structure within the business, demonstrating to both employees and partner agencies, a company’s commitment to mental and physical wellbeing.
