Featured story

'Safety culture under strain?' is the theme of this year's conference, which will take place on 26 and 28 April 2016, in London and Edinburgh.

The conference will explore the characteristics of a good safety culture, why this is important, and how CIRAS can play a vital role in keeping staff and customers safe.  The agenda for the day includes guest speakers from the Office of Rail and Road, Keolis, and Balfour Beatty Rail.

There will also be an interactive session, exploring exactly how confidential reporting can make a significant difference to health and safety.  Delegates will have the opportunity to explore the potential consequences of a culture in which employees are not given effective methods to report and raise concerns.

The conference is free to attend; however, places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
