RSSB is here to provide support and advice for its members – and now we want our members to support and advise us. We are asking users to review RSSB.co.uk to ensure its structure and content meet your needs.
On 24 and 25 November 2015, we will be conducting user research sessions to understand how you, our stakeholders, use this website. The outcome of this research will help shape and develop RSSB.co.uk, improving its functionality and usability, providing better services and value for money for our stakeholders.
What are ‘user research sessions’?
The research will be facilitated by Webcredible, one of the UK’s leading user experience agencies, in their purpose-built research lab at their offices near London Bridge. Using state-of-the-art software, they will capture how stakeholders use the website.
Stakeholders will be assigned specific tasks to carry out on the RSSB website, and will be encouraged to ‘think-aloud’, talking through what they’re thinking as they use the website.
The moderators will aim to make scenarios as realistic as possible, often allowing users to choose the exact scenario within the task that they’re setting. Moderators are expertly trained to ask questions and elicit thoughts in a non-biased and neutral manner.
If you want to shape the future of the RSSB website and are available for just one hour on 24 or 25 November 2015 to participate in the research sessions in London, please contact our Web Manager, Taela Walters, who will book a session for you.
If you are unavailable on either of these days, you are welcome to contact us with your thoughts.
