Impact of Coronavirus on RISAS

Like many other organisations, we recognise that the outbreak of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic is having an impact on day-to-day life, and this includes the way the RISAS scheme operates.

We would like to reassure stakeholders that we are following formal guidelines to minimise the spread of the virus and ensure the health and safety of our staff, customers and suppliers. At the same time, we are implementing contingency plans to ensure the continuous operation of the scheme.

The RISAS website, as an on-line tool, remains available 24/7 for users to utilise as required.

The assurance team at RSSB remains in close, regular contact with the RISAS Approval Bodies (RISABs) to develop and agree mitigations and contingency plans, enabling the continuous operation of the scheme. 

If you are a supplier and you have any questions or queries regarding your ongoing certification and how this might be affected over the upcoming weeks, please contact your Approval Body.
