ATOCACOP011 Iss 15

This Approved Code of Practice provides guidance on provision of support and assistance to those directly involved in a major passenger rail accident or incident (together with their friends/relatives). It does not seek to address the emergency response itself. This document has been re-issued following a periodic review. The principal change to the document is the inclusion of a new appendix (Appendix C) of the (slightly updated) content of what was previously the separate but complementary Guidance Note ATOCGN1011 (which has now been withdrawn). The checklist provides a list of suggested actions to consider as part of the initiation, deployment and post incident continuing support phases of the humanitarian response.
