Review of Simulation Training and Assessment in the GB Rail Industry (T711)

This review built on and extended work carried out by RSSB in 2004 that looked at the use of simulation in the rail industry at that time. The key objectives of this update project were: to survey the GB rail industry to establish what progress had been made over the previous three years; to look at developments in the field; and to compare and contrast the use of simulation for training and assessment in the rail industry with that in other safety critical industries.
